Conducts calibration, operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment before, during and after each procedure. (40%)2. Prepares patient for exercise testing and assists physician-in-charge in conducting each procedure. (30%)3. Assists in maintenance of records, compiling test results, billing for procedures and patient files. (10%)4. Assists supervisor and director with cardiac rehabilitation program including:Identify and recruit patientsSet-up and instruct classesAssist in billing for rehabilitation sessionsKeep appropriate records and follow-ups5. Assists in training of cardiology fellows and visiting physicians assigned to the lab. (10%)Education QualificationsBachelor's Degree Exercise Science or similar field of study RequiredMaster's Degree Exercise Physiology PreferredExperience QualificationsAt least one (1) year experience in an exercise laboratory setting RequiredAt least one (1) year an exercise laboratory setting in which at least 50% of the testing is performed on patients less than of 18 years of age Preferred or physical/ health education teaching or aerobic instruction PreferredLicenses and CertificationsCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - issued through on organization that requires a hands-on instructor lead psychomotor skills verification (ex. American Heart Association or Red Cross). - upon hire - RequiredAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - issued through on organization that requires a hands-on instructor lead psychomotor skills verification (ex.
